The sports club “Sunkar” organizes and carries out all sports and health work for students and teaching staff, which includes:
- holding a Spartakiad among first-year students;
- holding a Spartakiad among the faculty and staff of the university;
- holding competitions for the University Cup;
- organizing sectional work with young students;
- holding sports evenings;
- organizing sports training work in individual and team sports;
- organizing Health Days;
- assisting in holding the Republican Universiade.
